Only one year later, Tomas Rabe, Xiangyan Ruan, Alfred O. Mueck dedicate this wellmatched eastern and western medical book to our countrymen. I am especially delighted!

Reproduction is the most profound mystery of human's body. It has complex characteristics that are not only just scientific, biological, philosophical, but also are cabalistic, mythical and religious. Even now in such highly developed scientific prosperity, it is still a complex as above with many unexplained mysteries.

But in the past thirty years or more ever since the first IVF baby was born, more and more human reproductive mysteries were gradually discovered. The significance not only lies in it successfully assisted reproduction, but also lies in the congnition it brought to us. No matter the promotion or inhibition of reproduction, to assist reproduction or the contraception, all should be regarded as ways of reproductive regulation. It is a new cognition and greeting to nature.

This is the basic understanding when I review the catalogue of the new book. And then, the following specific technologies dawned upon me. The contents of this book are rich and colorful which comprises great achievements in reproductive endocrinology.

Now, except technology, there are still many other problems with reproduction, fertility protection and reproductive technology, such as national conditions, ethics, moralities, laws, philosophy and concepts, et al. So its future development will be broad and profound.

We are moved by the three chief editors' cooperation, as well as the family history story of Tomas Rabe. We should say, it represents a kind of spirit, and it is a kind of love to people, a kind of love to humanity. Love is for all human being, so the science must be for all the human being. We should spread love and science to the whole world, and to all the human being.
